Welcome to my site! I’m a freelance writer and editor in the Chicagoland area. Here’s a brief summary of my 9 years of experience:

• Worked as an in-house academic editor managing production schedules, author relationships, and editorial workflows

• Edited hundreds of scientific, medical, and academic manuscripts in fields like prosthodontics, general and restorative dentistry, oral and facial pain, implantology, neuroscience, social and political history, and more

• Managed the submission and peer review processes for 4 research journals, including making continuous updates to journal guidelines to stay up to date with best publishing and ethics practices

• Co-founded the flash fiction creative writing contest, Jerboa Lit

• Earned a spot as a finalist in the 2024 NYC Midnight 100-Word Microfiction Challenge and as a semi-finalist in the 2024 500-Word Short Fiction Challenge

• Performed as a cast member and writer for the award-winning podcast, Quest Friends!
